Green Turtle Real Estate has been providing a superior level of informed professional service in real estate since 1999. Formerly a sales agent for Coldwell Banker, Lightbourn Realty in Nassau, I listed and sold many properties in the Abaco area. I was awarded the "Presidents Circle Award" from Coldwell Banker International in 2004 and 2005 for outstanding sales. The prestigious award is limited to only the top nine percent of the more than 120,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system who meet tough sales goals. Ten years later I am still providing personal and professional service to buyers and sellers in the field of real estate. My expertise in all areas of the real estate industry, allow me to offer the most professional service to my clients. I make sure my clients get exactly what they are looking for in a home or property and guarantee that they do!
Green Turtle Cay is a picturesque "post card pretty" little island populated by slightly over 400 full time residents. Green Turtle Cay is easily accessed by a short ten minute ferry from the main island of Abaco. The island is three miles long and a mile and a half wide at the widest point.
There are numerous restaurants, several food stores, two resorts and marinas, a clinic and three Churches. Mode of transport is by Golf Cart or small runabouts. Most of the residents are engaged in the local fishing industry or construction. The remainder are employed in the tourism industry such as the resort, restaurant and marina related jobs. The island of Abaco is easily accessible by the numerous airlines that service Treasure Cay, which is the port of entry for Green Turtle Cay. Due to the close proximity to the coast of Florida, many people make the short crossing in their own boats which can be accomplished in less than 10 hours in most cases. High speed internet and cable television services are now the norm in every household, and although the island is set in a historic New England type surrounding, all the modern conveniences are right at hand.
